3V Studio ("we", "us", "our") operates the Komit21 mobile application.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use Komit21. By using the app, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Data We Collect

When you create an account or use Komit21, we may collect:

Account information — email address, display name, profile photo (optional).
Usage data — challenges started and completed, daily check-ins, XP points, badges earned.
Device information — device type, operating system, app version, push notification token.
Purchase information — subscription status (processed via RevenueCat and the Apple App Store).

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as health records, financial data, or government IDs.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

Provide and improve the Komit21 service.
Sync your progress across sessions and devices.
Send push notifications for daily check-in reminders (only if you opt in).
Process in-app subscriptions and verify purchase status.
Analyze usage patterns to improve the app (anonymized analytics).
Send product updates and tips if you subscribe to our newsletter.

3. Third-Party Services

Komit21 uses the following third-party services that may process your data:

Firebase (Google) — authentication, database storage, push notifications, and analytics. Firebase Privacy Policy

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account from within the app, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights:

Right of access — request a copy of your personal data.
Right to rectification — correct inaccurate data.
Right to erasure — request deletion of your data.
Right to portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
Right to object — opt out of certain data processing.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), Firebase security rules, and secure authentication. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

Komit21 is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

8. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the Komit21 app: open the Account screen and tap Delete my account. This permanently removes your profile, challenges, journal entries, badges, comments, and friends from our database. Backups are purged within 30 days. Note that App Store subscriptions are managed by Apple and must be cancelled separately in iOS Settings.
